6 STEP LAWN CARE PROGRAM

Step 1 – March/ April - Wake up your lawn after a long winters nap and feed it with a balance of Nitrogen and Crab Grass control.

Step 2 – May/June – Ensure Deep root growth for a healthy lawn, along with further crab grass control and spot spraying broadleaf weeds as needed.

Step 3 – July/August – Heat and Humidity take their toll on all lawns.  Proper watering is essential this time of year.  Insects and weeds are in full swing BY now and this application has a slow release mechanism along with Grub and insect control.

Step 4 – Sept/Oct – Color, root development and soil conditions is important and this application helps this.  Slow release application and spot spraying weeds as needed. (It is the perfect time of the year for any Deep core Aeration or over seeding)

Step 5 –Oct/Nov – Winterizer – Time to Feed your lawn for the last time of the season and get it ready for a long winter nap. Root development thickens the lawn for the winter.

Step 6 - Any time – Lime - usually in the fall – All the fertilizer in the world won’t help your lawn if the PH level in your soil is off! This application helps raise your lawns PH level and reduce high acidity which is prevalent in our area.  6.5 PH is our goal and Cal-Turf-Pro lime is the solution.

6 STEP ORGANIC LAWN CARE PROGRAM

Step 1 – March/ April - Wake up your lawn after a long winter's nap and feed it with an Organic Espoma Lawn food. 15-0-5

Step 2 – May/June – Organic Espoma Lawn Food - Ensure Deep root growth for a healthy lawn. This application contains bio-tone microbes that help make nutrients more available to your lawn. (optional spot spraying of weeds at an additional charge – These products are not organic but dissipate much quicker in as short  as 3 days compared to granular products that last weeks)

Step 3 – July/August – Organic Espoma Lawn Food - Heat and Humidity take their toll on all lawns.  Proper watering is essential this time of year.  Insects and weeds are in full swing now.This application contains iron that greens up the lawn without staining your walkways or driveway. (optional spot spraying of weeds at an additional charge – These products are not organic but dissipate much quicker in as short  as 3 days compared to granular products that last weeks) – Organic Mosquito and Tick spray available at additional charge.

Step 4 – Sept/Oct – Color, root development and soil conditions are important and this application helps this. Organic Espoma Lawn Food 15-0-5 slow release application. (Non-organic - Spot spraying weeds as needed at an additional charge)  **** (it is the perfect time of the year for any Deep core Aeration or overseeding)

This application helps raise your lawns PH level and reduce high acidity which is prevalent in our area.  6.5 PH is our goal and Cal-Turf-Pro or Solu-cal lime is the solution.
